The deity worshipped in this temple is known as Goddess Brahmari, also known as Bhramarabika, and is associated with the chin region of the divine mother. The word “Bhramari” means bees, and the Beejakshar mantra of the Goddess is the sound “Hring”. The Goddess is adorned with Sindoor and is believed to bless devotees with divine grace. According to legend, the Goddess also defeated the demon Mahishasura, who was misusing his power.
