This temple is located on the banks of the original Ganga River, which connects Hoogly, and her consort, Lord Shiva, is worshipped as Nakulesh in the form of a Sivalingam. Devotees who visit this temple are believed to receive blessings for material gains, purity, and prosperity. In addition, a self-manifested “Svayambhu Lingam of Nakuleshwar Bhairav” is also worshipped near the temple of Goddess Maha Kali.
