Goddess Varahi is a feminine form of Lord Varaha (incarnation of Lord Vishnu; boar form). She is one of the Saptamaatrukas (seven Shakti forms of Mother Divine). She has other names such as Vajravarahi, Vaartali, etc.
During the nine-day period of Varahi Navratri, we will worship Goddess Varahi as a protector from all kinds of evil forces, negative energies, and enemies. Goddess Varahi, according to the Vedic texts, provides protection from all diseases and gives health and healing.
