Sankata Hara Chaturthi – Ganesha Yagya Sunday, May 26th 2024
Ganesha is the Lord of new beginnings, and he is the remover of obstacles, anxiety, and depression. He is the one we invoke for a trouble-free execution and thorough completion of an undertaken task. Chaturthi, occurring during the waning phase of the moon is considered a special day to worship him and have our troubles disappear. This day is observed as Sankata Hara Chaturthi, ‘Sankata’ meaning troubles and ‘Hara’ meaning destroy.
Special yagya with 1008 Modakas (sweet dumpling dish) will be performed to appease Lord Ganesha. To be part of this yagya please sponsor and be blessed by Lord Ganesha.
